Security Contest 2008

This year is the third consecutive security contest that the staff of Sofistic and the founders of LUG Gulcas organize for Iparty in Castellon, with the sponsorship of Sofistic. The first prize is an iPod Touch sponsored by Sofistic and the second prize is sponsored by Aditel.

Could you take advantage of some vulnerability? Do you think that you know the last remote and local exploitable techniques?

If you know what is a buffer overflow, format string, sql injection and so on: This contest is for you! Otherwise it is a great opportunity to know about those and become an expert on the topic.

This contest is a typical wargame contest style, you begin in level 0 and have to gain access to next levels. There are a total of 22 levels in which you have to take advantage of your programming, linux and black hat skills to end in first position and get your prize: an iPod Touch.
